Sexy paper surface

The orange frame at the right marks the boundary of a designated site for street posters. There are many of these in Melbourne on the sides of buildings - more on them to come.

But then inside - the top part of this photo is part of a graffiti piece, so you see blue and green spray paint. And the sandy patch in the middle is wall paint. And the paper layers are culturally significant in their torn state as much as their whole state - because they give a behind-the-scenes version of the showing of voices, the promotion of events, the layering of materials, and the production of space that MAKE URBAN LIFE.
